Jedi Sentinels can dual wield two light sabers, using precession and speed to strike their enemies where they have weak points. Sentinels can choose to learn the path of Combat, using lighter armor and the Ataru form to preform incredible fast strikes; the path of the Watchman, becoming a living weapon of destruction by use of the Juyo form; or they can follow the path of Focus, using advance Force abilities to increase their light saber techniques and to manipulate thier foes.

A Jedi Sentinel can excel in player versus player, or the PvP aspect of the game. The Jedi Sentinel PvP build uses the Focus tree as the main skill set. The main problem you will have in PvP while playing the Sentinel is ranged attackers. The Bounty Hunter Class most of all. Welcome to SWTOR Jedi Sentinel Guide

The Jedi Sentinel is the advance class of the Jedi Knight in Star Wars The Old Republic. The Jedi Guardian is the other one or the two advanced classes. The Jedi Sentinel is the damage dealer of the Jedi Knights, training himself to become a living weapon of The Force.

When you first start the game as a Jedi, you choose between becoming a The Jedi Knight or becoming a Jedi Consular. Choose a Jedi Knight to start your path toward the advanced Jedi Sentinel. The fist thing to do is to reach level 10 as quickly as possible. This is easy enough to do, just follow the instructions that are given to you by the Jedi masters that you will meet as you play.

You should have no trouble reaching level 10. Most of the class quests are found on the starting planet. Which will let you easily reach the the advance class of Jedi Sentinel. Create a map in your mind or write then down of where each quest is located. This will let you save time by bundling the quests that are close to each other together. You can receive some very cool reward by finishing your class quests. These include your first light saber, your star ship, and your first companion. Do not neglect doing the class quests.

Along the way you will pick up your first companion to help you in your questing through out the galaxy. The Jedi Knights first companion is an astro-mech by the name of T7-01. You will pick up other companions as you go along. You do not get to control your companion directly, but you do get to give them basic instructions to help you. The real benefit is you will not have to wait around other players to group with. With that being said, Star Wars The Old Republic is a multi-player game and you do get extra experience for being in groups. Do not miss out on the social aspect of the game.

One you reach level 10, you will be able to choose the advance class of the Jedi Sentinel. You will also be able to choose what area you want your Jedi to specialize in, weather it be an all out killing machine, focused force wielder, or a deadly combination of the two.

Once you reach level 10, the Jedi Council will dispatch you to the planet Coruscant. You will first go to the orbiting space station where you will become a Jedi Sentinel once you talk to the advance class Jedi Master. You will be given your Jedi Sentinel pack, which includes a second light saber for dual wielding.

As a Jedi Sentinel you will be in high demand for your ability to dish out damage quickly. Once you reach level 10 and have chosen your advance path, the whole galaxy opens up for you! One of the first things you want to do is complete the flashpoint upon the station named The Esselles. A flashpoint is a multi-player quest that will give you good experience and extra rewards. More importantly they are fun to do!
